Hannah Wilson

I hold a B.Comm, LLB (cum laude), LLM (tax), as well as an Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning Law and an Advanced Diploma in Estate and Trust Administration. I am a practising attorney.

My practice, Wilson’s, specialises in assisting and advising clients on the structuring and management of their personal and financial legal affairs. I also practise as a commercial and family mediator (trained and accredited by the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution in the UK in 2007) and spend much of my professional time mediating disputes with financial aspects (divorces, disputes regarding deceased estates etc.).

I previously practised as an Advocate of the High Court of South Africa where I had a general commercial practice. I started out my professional career in corporate finance.

As a result of my work experience in both the financial and legal sectors, I have a unique blend of commercial, financial and legal skills. I draw on these skills to empower my clients to see and understand the big picture of their particular circumstances or disputes. I also help my clients craft practical, efficient and cost-effective solutions and/or alternatives.

I am passionate about my work and am committed to the education and empowerment of individuals in basic principles of law and finance, believing both to be important cornerstones of life and work in the 21st century.
